Suffolk, Va., is searching for a third-party administrator for its 457 plan, said Jay Smigielski, city purchasing agent.
The city issued an RFP for a firm to provide services including record keeping, administration, communication and education, and investment options; current record keeper MissionSquare Retirement is eligible to rebid, Mr. Smigielski said.
He could not provide the asset size of the plan.
The RFP is available on the city's website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. EDT on Sept. 15. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
