State University of New York, Albany, is searching for a full-service consultant for its four defined contribution plans.
The university is seeking a consultant to provide investment evaluation, operations and plan governance and compliance services, according to an RFP posted on the New York State Contract Reporter procurement website.
The chosen consultant would also evaluate current record keepers AIG Retirement Services, MassMutual, TIAA-CREF and Voya Financial.
The RFP does not disclose the name of the current consultant, if any, and whether the firm is eligible to rebid.
The four plans are the $12.5 billion SUNY Optional Retirement Program, $6 billion SUNY Voluntary 403(b) Savings Plan, $4.9 billion SUNY ORP Pre-1990/Classified TDA Plan and $184 million New York State Voluntary Defined Contribution Plan.
The RFP is available on the state's procurement website. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. EDT on July 22. A timeline for a selection has yet to be announced.
