Stanislaus County Employees' Retirement Association, Modesto, Calif., committed $15 million to SSC Partners II.
The $2.7 billion pension fund's commitment to the lower middle-market buyout fund managed by Sole Source Capital was completed Sept. 30, according to a memo from Stan Conwell, investment officer, that was included in materials for the pension fund's upcoming Oct. 26 board meeting.
As of Sept. 30, StanCERA's actual allocation to private equity was 5.2%; the target is 5%.
