Stanislaus County Employees' Retirement Association, Modesto, Calif., committed $20 million to Gryphon Partners VI.
The $2.5 billion pension fund closed the commitment to the buyout fund managed by Gryphon Investors on Jan. 4, according to a memo from Retirement Investment Officer Stan Conwell included in Jan. 26 board meeting materials.
As of Dec. 31, the actual allocation to private equity was 7.1%; the target is 6%.
Mr. Conwell could not be immediately reached for further information.
