Stafford, Conn., is seeking an investment consultant for the town's and board of education's pension plans, which have a combined $16.5 million in assets, and also for the town's $1 million 457(b) plan.
Hooker & Holcombe is assisting with the search. The firm will not be submitting a bid, according to the RFP.
The search is being conducted because its current consultant has undergone a change in its managerial structure of its investment adviser, said Arthur J. Meizner, director of investment consulting services at Hooker & Holcombe. GWN Securities is the current consultant and has been asked to rebid.
The RFP is available on the Town of Stafford website. Proposals are due 4 p.m. EST Jan. 21. A selection is expected to be made by Feb. 19.
