Springfield (Mo.) Police Officers' & Firefighters' Retirement System committed up to $30 million to Loomis Sayles Credit Dislocation Master Fund.
The $469 million pension fund's board approved the commitment to the credit dislocation fund managed by Loomis Sayles & Co. at its July 9 meeting, said Janell Manley, administrative director, in an email.
As of June 30, the actual allocation to alternative investments was 8.7%.
Investment consultant Segal Marco Advisors assisted.
