South Carolina Retirement System Investment Commission, Columbia, committed up to $379 million to four managers for the $41 billion South Carolina Retirement Systems, according to board documents.
The commission committed up to $150 million to Greystar Equity Partners XI, a real estate fund managed by Greystar Real Estate Partners.
It also made three private equity commitments: up to $100 million to Brookfield Capital Partners VI, a real assets-focused buyout fund managed by Brookfield Asset Management; up to $75 million to Brighton Park Capital Fund II, a software and technology service-focused private equity fund; and up to €50 million ($54 million) to Nordic Capital XI, a European buyout fund.
The commission disclosed the commitments, which were made in April and May, at its June 2 meeting.
