South Carolina Public Employee Benefit Authority, Columbia, is searching for an investment consultant for its $4.1 billion 401(k) plan, $3.9 billion 401(a) plan and $1.2 billion 457 plan.
The authority is seeking a firm to provide general investment consulting services for the three plans, according to an RFP posted on the state's procurement website.
The RFP does not say whether the current consultant, Segal Marco Advisors, is eligible to rebid.
The record keeper for the 401(k) and 457 plans is Empower Retirement, which also provides those services for the 401(a) plan along with AIG Retirement Services, TIAA-CREF and Voya Financial.
The RFP is available on the state's procurement website. Proposals are due at 11 a.m. EST on Feb. 11. A selection is expected on March 4.
