Sonoma County Employees' Retirement Association, Santa Rosa, Calif., committed $135 million to KKR Diversified Core Infrastructure Fund.
The $3.4 billion pension fund's investment committee approved the commitment to the open-end infrastructure fund managed by KKR & Co. at its July 29 meeting, said Steven Marsh, senior investment officer. It is a first-time commitment to the manager for the pension fund.
As of June 30, the pension fund's actual allocation to infrastructure was 5%.
