Simsbury, Conn., is seeking record-keeping and administrative services for the town's three defined contribution plans totaling $13 million. The town has a 457 plan, a board of education plan and 401(a) plan.
MassMutual is the current record keeper. It could not be learned if it could rebid.
Investment consultant Fiduciary Investment Advisors is assisting with the search.
The RFP is available on the town's website. Proposals are due 1 p.m. EST on Jan. 8. A selection is expected to be made in late March.
Amy Meriwether, director of finance and treasurer for Simsbury, and Maura Goulart, director of client services at Fiduciary Investment Advisors, could not be immediately reached for comment.
