Simpson Manufacturing Co. Inc., Pleasanton, Calif., hired Vanguard Group as record keeper of its 401(k) plan.
Vanguard replaced Milliman, effective April 1, according to the company's 11-K filing Monday with the SEC.
The filing did not provide a reason for the change. Whether any investment options were changed as a result could not be immediately learned.
As of Dec. 31, the Simpson Manufacturing Co. Inc. 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan had $230 million in assets, according to the 11-K filing. As of that same date, the plan had eight mutual fund investment options and a target-date fund lineup, all managed by Vanguard Group, four mutual fund options managed by Dimensional Fund Advisors, a money market fund and a common stock fund.
