SFPP Corp., Edmonton, Alberta, is searching for an investment consultant for the Special Forces Pension Plan.
The corporation, which sponsors the plan for police officers in Alberta, is seeking a consultant that will provide quarterly and annual investment reviews of the plan's manager, the Alberta Investment Management Co., and provide enhanced risk reporting on AIMCo's investment strategy for the corporation and its board, according to an RFP posted on Alberta's purchasing website.
As of Dec. 31, the Special Forces Pension Plan had C$3.5 billion ($2.7 billion) in assets, according to its most recent annual report.
Which firm currently provides investment consulting services, and whether the firm is eligible to rebid, was not available.
The RFP is available on Alberta's purchasing website. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 4 p.m. MST on Nov. 16. A timeline for a decision was not provided.
