Schneider Pension Plan, London, hired Aon to provide fiduciary management, a spokeswoman said Monday.
Aon will be the sole fiduciary manager for the total investment portfolio of the £400 million ($501 million) plan for employees of Schneider Electric.
The trustees "were pleased to be able to appoint Aon to manage all the scheme's assets with a very clear long-term return objective aligned to the trustees and the company's funding strategy," said Rodney Turtle, chairman of the Schneider Pension Plan trustees, in a news release.
With Aon's support, the pension fund will be able to meet its investment objectives while cutting risk and reducing funding volatility, Mr. Turtle added.
