Saugus (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for an active domestic small-cap growth equity manager to run between $8 million and $10 million.
The $145 million pension fund is seeking a small-cap growth equity manager to manage up to 6.25% of the pension fund's overall portfolio and the dollar amount will be determined at the time of funding, according to an RFP posted on the website of Wainwright Investment Counsel, the pension fund's investment consultant, which is assisting with the search.
The RFP does not disclose whether there is an incumbent manager or whether the firm is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on Wainwright Investment Counsel's website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EST on Jan. 12. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
