San Jose, Calif., is searching for an investment consultant for its $1 billion 457 plan, according to an RFP posted on the BidSync procurement website.
The city is issuing the RFP because the contract with current consultant Buck is expiring soon, Amy Morton, senior analyst, benefits division, said in a July email.
Buck is invited to rebid, she said at the time. The chosen consultant will also advise the committee on a $28 million VEBA plan and $2 million 401(a) plan.
The RFP is available on the BidSync procurement website. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. PDT on Oct. 14. Finalist interviews are tentatively scheduled for Dec. 16-17, with a decision expected shortly thereafter.
Ms. Morton could not be immediately reached to provide further information.
