San Jose (Calif.) Police & Fire Department Retirement Plan disclosed two new venture capital commitments totaling $5 million to funds managed by Crosslink Capital.
The $4.4 billion pension fund committed $3.5 million to Crosslink Ventures X, the manager's latest flagship early stage venture capital fund, and $1.5 million to early growth fund Crosslink Endeavour II, said Ron Kumar, investment operations supervisor, in an email.
They are the pension fund's first commitments to Crosslink funds, Mr. Kumar said.
As of Sept. 30, the pension fund's actual allocation to private markets was 25.3%; the target is 25%.
