San Joaquin County Employees' Retirement Association, Stockton, Calif., committed $50 million to White Oak Yield Spectrum Fund V, CEO Johanna Shick said.
The $3.1 billion pension fund disclosed the commitment to the direct lending fund managed by White Oak Global Advisors at its Jan. 10 board meeting.
SJCERA previously committed $50 million to White Oak Summit Fund in 2015.
As of Sept. 30, the pension fund's actual allocation to credit was 12.6%; the target is 14%.
