San Francisco City & County Employees' Retirement System will begin a search Friday for an investment consultant for its $4.1 billion 457 plan.
The system's board approved an RFP at its meeting Wednesday due to the upcoming expiration of current consultant Callan's contract on June 30, 2021.
Callan is invited to rebid, spokesman Stephen Worsfold said in an email.
The 457 plan has 13 investment options and a self-directed brokerage account.
The RFP will be posted on SFERS' website on Oct. 16. Proposals will be due on Dec. 14. A selection is expected in March.
