San Francisco City & County Employees' Retirement System disclosed an investment of $15 million in Project Mirasol Co-Invest Fund in a report from CIO William J. Coaker Jr. ahead of its May 12 board meeting.
The $32.7 billion pension fund's investment in the private equity co-investment fund managed by Thoma Bravo closed April 16, according to the report.
SFERS has made multiple commitments to Thoma Bravo funds, and this is its second co-investment alongside the manager. Its first was an investment of $20 million in Ellie Mae in 2019.
As of April 30, the actual allocation to private equity was 24.7%.
