San Francisco City & County Employees' Retirement System disclosed private credit and private equity commitments totaling $90 million.
The $33.1 billion pension fund disclosed commitments of $50 million to Centerbridge Flex Partners, a private credit fund managed by Centerbridge Partners, and up to $40 million to growth equity fund Volition Capital Fund V in a report from CEO/CIO Alison Romano in materials for its upcoming Dec. 15 board meeting.
SFERS previously committed $25 million to Centerbridge Special Credit Partners IV earlier this year. Volition Capital is a new manager for the pension fund.
As of Nov. 30, the actual allocations to private equity and private credit were 30.4% and 7.2%, respectively; their respective targets are 23% and 10%.
