San Francisco City & County Employees' Retirement System disclosed five venture capital commitments totaling $175 million in a report from CIO William J. Coaker Jr. for Wednesday's upcoming board meeting.
The $26.5 billion pension fund committed $100 million to Knightsbridge H 2019 and $10 million to Knightsbridge A, managed by Knightsbridge Advisers; $40 million to Longitude Venture Partners IV, a fund managed by Longitude Capital; and $20 million to LYFE Capital Fund III (Dragon) and $5 million to LYFE Capital Fund III (Phoenix).
As of Sept. 30, the actual allocation to private equity was 21.1%; the target is 18%.
