Sacramento County (Calif.) Employees’ Retirement System is searching for a custodian, according to a notice of the search on its website.
The $13.3 billion pension fund issued the RFP after its board recommended putting the services up for bid after recently extending the contract of current custodian, State Street Bank, for three years, according to materials for its Feb. 19 meeting.
The RFP does not disclose whether State Street is eligible to rebid for the services, and CIO Steve Davis could not be immediately reached for further information.
The RFP is available on the website of service provider InHub. Registration is required. Proposals are due by Sept. 27. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
