South Korea's 698.3 trillion won ($567 billion) National Pension Service said it has hired three new alternatives managers since the start of 2020.
The Jeonju-based pension giant's quarterly manager update for the three months ended March 31 cited hedge fund manager Select Equity Group, software-focused venture capital firm Insight Partners and private debt manager Antares Capital as additions to its manager roster.
A spokesman for NPS said the fund does not provide details regarding the size of the allocations awarded.
According to New York-based Select Equity's website, the firm has more than $20 billion in assets under management in long/short hedge funds and long-only equity strategies.
Insight Partners, another New York-based firm, reported more than $30 billion in capital commitments, while Chicago-based Antares Capital's website says the firm has more than $27 billion in capital under management and administration.
