Rhode Island Airport Corp., Warwick, is searching for an investment consultant for its $20 million 414(h) plan and $6 million 457 plan, according to an RFP posted on its procurement website.
The quasi-public corporation that operates and maintains six airports in the state is seeking a firm to advise its pension committee in reviewing the existing plans and their investment options, fees and performance, the RFP stated. According to recently released pension committee minutes, the current investment consultant is Hooker & Holcombe.
Whether the firm is invited to rebid could not be immediately learned.
The RFP is available on the corporation's procurement website. Proposals are due at 4 p.m. EDT on Aug. 20. A timeline for a decision was not provided.
Questions for Richard McCurley, acting senior vice president and chief of staff and member of the pension committee, were referred to corporate spokesman Bill Fischer, who could not immediately be reached to provide further information.
