Republic Bancorp Inc., Louisville, Ky., added six index funds managed by Fidelity Investments to the investment options lineup of its 401(k) plan in 2020.
As of Dec. 31, the Fidelity Total Market Index Fund, Fidelity U.S. Bond Index Fund, Fidelity International Index Fund, Fidelity Short-Term Bond Index Fund, Fidelity Emerging Markets Index Fund and Fidelity Inflation-Protected Bond Index Fund had $11 million $8, million, $8 million, $2 million, $2 million and $1 million, respectively, in assets in the plan, according to the company's 11-K filing Monday with the SEC.
A comparison of this year's 11-K filing and last year's filing shows the plan removed five index funds managed by Vanguard and one index fund managed by Nuveen from the lineup in 2020.
As of Dec. 31, 2019, the Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund, TIAA-CREF International Equity Index Fund, Vanguard Total Bond Index Fund, Vanguard Ultra-Short Bond Index Fund, Vanguard Short Term Investment Grade Index Fund and Vanguard Emerging Markets Stock Index Fund had $9 million, $7 million, $7 million, $3 million, $2 million and $2 million, respectively, in assets in the plan, according to the prior 11-K filing.
The new 11-K filing did not provide reasons for the changes.
As of Dec. 31, the Republic Bancorp Inc. 401(k) Retirement Plan had $112 million in assets, according to the new 11-K filing.
