Pompano Beach (Fla.) Police & Firefighters' Retirement System hired Southeastern Advisory Services as investment consultant.
The $230 million pension fund's board approved the hiring at its Oct. 17 meeting, recently released meeting minutes show.
The pension fund had issued an RFP in July. Current consultant Graystone Consulting rebid for the services and was a finalist along with AndCo Consulting, Burgess Chambers & Associates and Dahab Associates.
As of Sept. 30, the pension fund's actual allocation was 50% equities, 25.2% alternative investments, 21.7% fixed income and the rest in a non-managed account.
