Pompano Beach (Fla.) Police & Firefighters' Retirement System is searching for an investment consultant.
The $259 million pension fund is seeking a firm to provide ongoing independent investment consulting services, which includes investment manager performance evaluation, review of investment guidelines and asset allocation and services related to investment manager searches, according to an RFP posted on its website.
The pension fund's board at its March 21 meeting approved conducting a search in 2022 in accordance with its service provider review policy, noting the issuance of a full of RFP was prudent since the board had not issued once since current consultant Graystone Consulting was originally hired, minutes of that meeting show.
The RFP does not disclose whether Graystone is eligible to rebid.
As of March 31, the pension fund's actual allocation was 54.2% equities, 25.4% alternative investments, 19.9% fixed income and the rest in a non-managed account.
The RFP is available on the pension fund's website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EDT on Aug. 31. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
Debra Tocarchick, executive director, did not reply to requests for further information.
