Plymouth County (Mass.) Retirement Association is searching for a core fixed-income manager to run about $60 million for the $1.24 billion pension fund.
Meketa Investment Group, the retirement plan's investment consultant, is assisting with the search.
Respondents must have been in operation for at least five years and have at least $5 billion in total assets under management to be considered.
The most recent investment report on the retirement association's website shows that Income Research & Management ran nearly $60 million in a core fixed-income strategy for the pension plan as of Jan. 31. It wasn't disclosed if IR&M's portfolio is up for bid or whether the fund is looking to hire an additional core fixed-income manager.
The RFP is available on Meketa's website. Proposals are due at noon EDT on April 30. A selection date was not disclosed.
