Plymouth County (Mass.) Retirement Association committed $10 million each to buyout funds managed by Atlantic Street Capital, LLR Partners and Searchlight Capital Partners.
The $1.3 billion pension fund's board approved the commitments to the funds at its Sept. 26 meeting, recently released meeting minutes showed.
The minutes did not disclose the names of the specific buyout funds. Other recent pension fund commitments show that Atlantic Street Capital is currently fundraising for lower-middle-market fund Atlantic Street Capital V; LLR Partners is currently fundraising for lower-middle-market fund LLR Equity Partners VII; and Searchlight Capital Partners is currently fundraising for Searchlight Capital IV.
The pension fund issued an RFP in June as a result of its 2023 private equity pacing plan, July 25 board meeting minutes showed. The pension fund's target to private equity is 13%.
