Phoenix Employees' Deferred Compensation Board is searching for a record keeper for its $1.5 billion 457 plan, $542 million 401(a) plan and $156 million post-employment health plan.
The board issued an RFP for a firm to provide "basic administration, enrollment, participant communication and education, investment management and record keeping services."
Nationwide Financial is the plans' current record keeper; whether the firm is invited to rebid could not be immediately learned.
The RFP is available on the city of Phoenix's purchasing website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. MST on March 20. A selection is expected on July 1.
Yolanda Briseno, the board's program coordinator, could not be immediately reached to provide further information.
