Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System, Harrisburg, is searching for to a large-cap value equities manager to run $148 million.
Dahab Associates, investment consultant for the $2.4 billion defined benefit plan, is assisting with the search.
The search is being conducted because the plan's five-year contract with incumbent manager Eagle Capital Management is set to expire soon, said William E. Dahab, managing director and principal at Dahab. Eagle Capital is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on Dahab's website. Proposals are due 5 p.m. EDT Aug. 19. A timetable for selection has not yet been established.
