Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp., Washington, is searching for an investment consultant.
The PBGC issued an RFP for a consultant for the PBGC's $77.9 billion trust fund of assets of terminated single-employer defined benefit plans and its $51.6 billion revolving fund of pension plan insurance premiums.
The selected consultant will provide ongoing advice, analysis and support on investment matters and serve as investment adviser to the PBGC corporate investment department staff, according to an RFP posted on the System for Award Management government website.

The last recorded bid process for the services took place in 2011. Then-current consultant Wilshire Associates was eligible to rebid, but the contract award was not disclosed.
The RFP is available on the System for Award Management government website. Proposals are due at 10 a.m. EST on Dec. 31. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
A PBGC spokesman could not immediately be reached for further information.
