Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon, Portland, is searching for a third-party administrator for its $135 million 457 plan and two 401(a) plans.
The district is seeking a firm to provide third-party administration, record keeping, communications and education services, according to an RFP posted on its procurement website.
MissionSquare Retirement is the current third-party administrator. The RFP does not disclose whether the firm is invited to rebid; however, the firm was the incumbent and was rehired when the services last went up for bid in 2017.
The district's two 401(a) plans are the $67 million TriMet Defined Contribution Retirement Plan for Union Represented Employees and $64 million TriMet Defined Contribution Retirement Plan for Management and Staff Employees.
The RFP is available on the district's procurement website. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 11:30 a.m. PST on Feb. 10. A selection is expected on April 26.
