Oregon City, Ore., is searching for a single record keeper for its 457 plan and 401(a) plan.
The city issued an RFP because it wants to consolidate to a single record keeper from the three firms currently providing the services for the plans, said Ted Grigsby, senior consultant at investment consultant Hyas Group, which is assisting with the search.
The three current record keepers are MissionSquare Retirement, Nationwide Financial and Voya Financial. Grigsby did not say whether all the firms are eligible to rebid.
The two defined contribution plans have a combined $23 million in assets.
The RFP can be obtained by emailing Grigsby or Tom Breaden, executive director and director of analytics at Hyas Group.
Proposals are due by Jan. 3. Finalist interviews are tentatively scheduled for the middle of February.
