Olin Corp., Clayton, Mo., hired Empower Retirement as record keeper of its 401(k) plan.
The chemical company disclosed the hiring in an 8-K filing with the SEC on Sept. 6.
Empower will replace Voya Financial. The reason for the change was not disclosed.
A blackout period for participants will begin at 4 p.m. EDT on Sept. 26 and end during the week of Oct. 13.
As of Dec. 31, the Olin Corp. Contributing Employee Ownership Plan had $1.3 billion in assets, according to the company’s most recent 11-K filing.
