Olathe, Kan., is searching for an investment consultant for its 457 and 401(a) plans.
The city is seeking proposals from firms that can provide “comprehensive financial planning, fiduciary services, investment management, participant education, and strategic guidance,” according to an RFP on its procurement website.
The RFP does not disclose whether there is a current consultant or whether the firm is invited to rebid. City officials could not be immediately reached for further information.
The 457 and 401(a) plans have combined assets totaling more than $50 million. The plans’ record keepers are Empower Retirement, MissionSquare Retirement and Nationwide Financial.
The RFP is available on the city’s procurement website. Registration is required. Proposals are due by 5 p.m. CDT on May 2. A selection is expected by June 3.
