Oklahoma Teachers' Retirement System, Oklahoma City, is seeking actuarial consulting services for the $22.9 billion pension plan.
The search is being conducted because the plan's contract with its current actuary, Gabriel Roeder Smith, is set to expire on June 30, confirmed Jessica Malloy, business manager for the for the pension fund. GRS is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available on the state's procurement website. Proposals are due 4 p.m. CST Jan. 4. A selection is expected to be made in late January, with the contract tentatively set to be signed on July 1.
