Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System, Oklahoma City, is searching for an actuarial consultant to provide ongoing services for the two defined benefit plans the board oversees.
The search is being conducted because the contract of current consultant Cavanaugh Macdonald Consulting is expiring June 30, 2020, said Joseph A. Fox, executive director, in an email.
The firm is invited to rebid, he said.
As of Sept. 30, the board oversaw $10.2 billion in assets for its defined benefit plan for public employees and a defined benefit plan for justices and judges.
The RFP is available on OPERS' website. Proposals are due at 4:30 p.m. CST Dec. 13. A decision is expected Jan. 15.
