Oklahoma Police Pension & Retirement System, Oklahoma City, made four private equity commitments totaling $70 million, said Ginger Sigler, executive director, in an email.
The $2.6 billion pension fund committed $25 million to Clean Growth Fund V, a secondary private equity fund of funds managed by North Sky Capital, as well as $15 million and $10 million to buyout funds Green Equity Investors VIII and Leonard Green Jade Fund, respectively, both managed by Leonard Green & Partners.
The pension fund previously committed $7.5 million to Green Equity Investors VII. North Sky is a new manager for the pension fund, Ms. Sigler said.
The pension fund also made a follow-on commitment of $20 million to growth equity fund Warburg Pincus Global Growth, bringing its total commitment to $40 million.
As of June 30, the actual allocation to private equity was 8.3%.
