Oklahoma Police Pension & Retirement System, Oklahoma City, committed up to $20 million to Apollo Accord Fund III, Executive Director Ginger Sigler said in an email.
The $2.6 billion pension fund's board approved the commitment to the private credit fund managed by Apollo Global Management at its May 15 meeting.
The pension fund previously committed $30 million to Apollo Accord Fund II in 2018.
As of April 30, the actual allocation to multisector fixed income was 9.8%.
Investment consultant Asset Consulting Group assisted.
