The Oklahoma Firefighters Pension & Retirement System, Oklahoma City, is soliciting proposals for a large-cap value domestic equity strategy to manage about $100 million, a news release Thursday said.
The $2.98 billion pension fund is conducting a request for proposals to potentially replace AJO over performance concerns, said Troy Brown, executive director at AndCo Consulting. It currently manages a large-cap value portfolio for the fund, Mr. Brown said. AJO is encouraged to rebid.
AJO did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The request for proposal will be available March 2 on the pension fund's website.
