The Oklahoma Firefighters Pension & Retirement System, Oklahoma City, committed $20 million to the Adams Street Co-Investment Fund VI, according to Troy Brown, a managing director at Mariner Institutional, the pension fund’s investment consultant.
The re-up commitment to the co-investment fund managed by Adams Street Partners was approved at a board meeting on Dec.20, Brown said in an email.
The $3.9 billion pension fund had previously committed $50 million to Adams Street Co-Investment Fund V in September 2021.
The pension fund’s actual allocation to “other equity”, which is where the $20 million commitment will reside, is 5%, Brown said; its target is 5%.
