Oklahoma Firefighters Pension & Retirement System, Oklahoma City, committed $20 million to Crown Co-Investment Opportunities IV, according to Chase Rankin, executive director of the $3.7 billion pension fund.
The commitment to the co-investment fund managed by LGT Capital Partners was approved at a board meeting on Aug. 16 and represents a re-up to an existing relationship with the asset manager, Rankin said in an email.
Oklahoma Firefighters committed $50 million to Crown Co-Investment Opportunities III in September of 2021.
As of June 30, the pension fund’s actual allocation to “other equity,” which is where the $20 million commitment will reside, was 4.2%. Its target allocation is 5%.
