Ohio State Teachers' Retirement System, Columbus, committed $75 million to buyout fund Veritas Capital Fund VII, pension fund spokesman Nick Treneff said in an email.
The $78.4 billion pension fund previously committed $60 million to Veritas Capital Fund VI, Mr. Treneff said.
As of Aug. 31, the fund's actual allocation to private equity was 8%; the target is 7%.
