Ohio State Teachers’ Retirement System, Columbus, committed $175 million to two private equity funds managed by Haveli Investments.
The $97.7 billion pension fund disclosed the commitments of $100 million to buyout fund Haveli Investments Software Fund I and $75 million to Haveli Investments Co-Investment Fund at its March 18 investment committee meeting, a livestream of the meeting showed.
They are the pension fund’s first commitments to Austin, Texas-based Haveli Investments. The manager is a technology-oriented private equity manager that focuses on software and gaming, according to its website.
As of Feb. 28, the pension fund’s actual allocation to private equity was 9.7%; the target is 10%.
