Ohio State Teachers Retirement System, Columbus, disclosed three new alternative fund commitments totaling up to $95 million, spokesman Nick Treneff said in an email.
The $75.2 billion pension fund committed $50 million to buyout fund Francisco Partners Agility II, $35 million to Summit Partners Venture Capital Fund V and committed up to $10 million to Dragoneer Opportunities Fund V, an opportunistic growth equity fund managed by Dragoneer Investment Group.
The pension fund previously committed up to $125 million to Francisco Partners V and $100 million to Summit Partners Growth Equity Fund X. This is the first commitment to a Dragoneer fund, Mr. Treneff said.
As of April 30, the actual allocations to opportunistic/diversified investments and private equity were 9.6% and 9.5%, respectively.
