Ohio State Teachers' Retirement System, Columbus, disclosed two new private equity fund commitments totaling $93 million.
The $89 billion pension fund committed $50 million to middle-market buyout fund Genstar Capital Partners XI and €40 million ($43 million) to Summit Partners Europe Growth Equity Fund IV, a Europe-focused growth equity fund, spokesman Nick Treneff said in an email.
The pension fund previously committed $50 million to Genstar Capital Partners X and $75 million to Summit Partners Growth Equity Fund XI, both in 2021.
As of Jan. 31, the pension fund's actual allocation to private equity was 11.2%; the target is 9%.
