Ohio State Teachers' Retirement System, Columbus, committed $75 million to buyout fund GTCR Fund XIII, said Nick Treneff, pension fund spokesman.
It is the $81.3 billion pension fund's second commitment to a GTCR fund, Mr. Treneff said.
The pension fund previously committed $110 million to GTCR Fund XII.
As of Aug. 31, the pension fund's actual allocation to private equity was 9.2%.
