Ohio School Employees Retirement System, Columbus, approved three new manager hires and commitments totaling $400 million.
The $17.8 billion pension fund's investment committee at its Sept. 16 meeting approved hiring Arcmont Asset Management to run $150 million in a direct lending strategy, and commitments of $150 million to FP Credit Fund II, a direct lending fund managed by Francisco Partners, and $100 million to TPG Capital Rise Climate, a growth equity and value-added infrastructure fund focusing on climate-related investments, at its Sept. 16 meeting, SERS spokesman Tim Barbour said in an email.
As of June 30, the actual allocations to global private equity and global private credit were 10.6% and 2.3%, respectively.
