Ohio School Employees Retirement System, Columbus, approved a total of $100 million in commitments to TPG Capital Rise Climate II and its sidecar co-investment fund.
The $19.1 billion pension fund’s board approved the commitments of $75 million and $25 million, respectively, to the growth equity and value-added infrastructure fund focusing on climate-related investments and its co-investment fund at its Sept. 19 meeting, according to meeting highlights emailed by spokesman Tim Barbour.
SERS previously committed $100 million to TPG Capital Rise Climate in 2021.
As of July 31, the pension fund’s actual allocation to global private equity was 13.1%; the target is 13%.
